ABOUT US
BiorteX began as a shared vision in 2017, shortly after we completed our PhDs. At a time when our career paths were uncertain, we knew that we wanted to shape our own future and build something that reflected who we are as scientists. We are both strongly independent and deeply committed to fieldwork, and we wanted a platform that would allow us to remain closely connected to hands-on research and exploration. Although we are both trained as zoologists, our expertise spans a broad range of research and professional skills, from population genetics and functional morphology to project management and grant writing. Through BiorteX, we combine these complementary strengths to support rigorous biological research, and we look forward to teaching, training, educating, and assisting the academic community.
